No dent nails are hardened, tempered steel used for driving into wood. The buttons are driven through fabric and foam directly into wood frame. They have a small corrugations to allow for easy driving and help prevent buttons from pulling out.The nail shank is 0.083" thick with length of 7/8". Comes with rust resistant shells.
